FM Utilities LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee underground utility construction projects, including water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, paving, and municipal infrastructure.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Manage multiple underground utility projects from pre-construction through final completion.
- Coordinate with owners, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Prepare and monitor project schedules.
- Control project budgets and maximize profitability.
- Review plans, specifications, contracts, and submittals.
- Process RFIs, change orders, pay applications, and purchase orders.
- Schedule crews, equipment, and materials.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Attend owner and construction meetings.
- Maintain strong communication with field supervisors and company management.
- Identify and resolve project issues before they impact production.
- Manage project closeout, punch lists, as-built documentation, warranties, and final acceptance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong knowledge of water, sewer, storm drain, paving, and municipal construction.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing underground utility projects.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with construction management software and project scheduling tools.
- Valid Texas driver's license.
PERERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with North Texas municipalities, Trinity River Authority, NTMWD, or similar public agencies.
- Knowledge of Texas utility standards and specifications.
- Experience with estimating is a plus.
