Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a cheerful attitude and provide exceptional service throughout their visit
- Assist customers in selecting baked goods, beverages, and other food items, offering recommendations and upselling where appropriate
- Operate POS systems
- Handle cash, credit, and mobile payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and register balancing
- Prepare and package food items, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including counters, display cases, and seating areas
- Restock and rotate baked goods and supplies to ensure freshness and availability
- Make sandwiches
- Follow all food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
- Clean equipments and wash sheet pans
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by collaborating with kitchen staff and other team members
- Engage with customers to enhance their experience, promote specials, and encourage upselling to increase sales
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, retail, or a quick service & fast food restaurant environment is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a positive, energetic attitude
- Ability to handle cash and perform basic math accurately
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety standards in a food industry setting
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork
- Strong communication skills and a professional appearance
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
