Shift: 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patients before surgery and prepare them for procedures.
Verify patient identity, surgical site, and consent.
Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.
Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies during surgery (scrub role) or coordinating patient care (circulating role).
Monitor patients' condition throughout the procedure.
Document patient care and surgical events accurately.
Ensure proper handling of surgical instruments and equipment.
Provide post-operative handoff and patient education as needed.
Follow infection control and patient safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN).
- BLS certification; ACLS
- CNOR certification is preferred but often optional.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour
