Job Title: DRIVER - FBO and Laundry Operations
Reports to: Back of House- Manager
Department: FBO Operations
Job Summary:
The Driver supports both FBO and Laundry operations by providing safe, timely transportation services and assisting with daily logistical and operational needs. This role is responsible for student transportation, mail and parcel handling, deliveries, water transport, FBO project support, scheduled cleaning, and comprehensive laundry services including linen sorting, stocking, inventory, and distribution. The Hybrid Driver ensures efficient movement of people and materials between locations while maintaining high standards of safety, organization, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
FBO & Operations Support
· Safely transport students between housing and Cinnamon Shore according to schedule
· Pick up, sort, and distribute mail and packages from the Port Aransas Post Office
· Ensure no mail or parcels are left unattended at the North office exit door
· Assist the Gift Shop with vendor pick-ups and deliveries from Rockport
· Transport water from the FBO location to North and South locations
· Participate in FBO projects and scheduled cleaning
· Perform additional tasks as assigned and coordinated through the FBO Operations Manager
· Document all runs and tasks in Breezeway under FBO
· Provide daily updates on completed tasks and operational issues
Laundry Operations
· Receive, sort, pack, and deliver clean linens to CSVR properties
· Perform inventory counts prior to delivery
· Collect, sort, and prepare dirty linens and towels for pick-up from the CSVR laundry pod
· Sort, distribute, stock, and organize property linens
· Assist in collecting linen bags
· Follow proper chemical use, equipment operation, and cleaning procedures
· Adhere to bundling requirements and input all tasks into Breezeway
· Use Breezeway and Slack applications for documentation and communication
· May be called upon to assist with housekeeping duties
Safety, Documentation & Professional Conduct
· Load, unload, and operate company vehicles safely and efficiently
· Follow all company, Environmental, Health, and Safety Management Programs
· Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service to staff, guests, and owners
· Be flexible with schedules, assignments, and operational changes
· Provide feedback and suggestions to improve efficiency and service quality
Qualifications & Skills
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
· Previous driving or similar experience preferred
· Knowledge of the surrounding area
· Familiarity with Breezeway and Slack or willingness to learn
· Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Knowledge of general workplace safety practices
Physical Requirements
· Ability to perform physical labor indoors and outdoors, including inclement weather
· Ability to lift 70 lbs.
· Ability to sit for extended driving periods
· Ability to climb stairs, walk on various surfaces, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, and reach repeatedly
· Ability to push and pull carts on inclines and declines
· Ability to work in varying conditions (heat, cold, damp, inside, outside)
Schedule
· Flexible availability required
· Will include weekends, holidays, extra shifts, and extended hours as needed
Pay: $17.00 per hour
