About Us:
Brain Builders is a leading Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) agency dedicated to providing high-quality therapy services for children with Autism. We focus on fostering independence, improving communication, and enhancing daily living skills through personalized care and evidence-based practices. We are currently seeking a caring and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on a per diem basis.
Position Overview:
The SLP will work closely with the children, focusing on enhancing communication, language, and social skills. You will work collaboratively with a team of therapists in our clinic to create and implement individualized treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy to children with autism, focusing on expressive/receptive language, articulation, pragmatics, and AAC (as needed)
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other clinical staff to support progress and generalization of skills
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinic and insurance guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and case consultations as needed
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Afternoon availability
- Licensed (or eligible) to practice in NJ.
- Experience working with children with autism
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
