Saint Vincent de Paul in West Bend is in search of a candidate who's position will be in donations, cashiering, and/or merchandising 15- 30 hours per week. Must be available evenings and weekends. Cashiering expertise preferred but we are willing will train the right person.
General Information
St. Vincent de Paul Society is a non-profit, Catholic lay organization that helps local families with assistance. Our retail stores generate most of the funds that our volunteers use to accomplish this goal. Our stores also give out merchandise to assist families when requested. Cashiers supports this mission by assisting customers. Also promotes the SVdP mission and values to employee and customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Greet customers
· Cash Handling
· Give each customer a receipt for each transaction
· Maintain clean, orderly, and safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
· Answer customer questions and provide information on policies if needed
· Answer phones and provide information to customer as needed
· Make and fill popcorn, stock soda and end caps
· Assist in fitting rooms
- Quickly assist customers
- Must have a positive attitude
- Hand all donating customers a receipt when asked for one
- Thank all customers for supporting our community
- Keep dock area neat, clean and organized
- Follow company guidelines, per the employee handbook
- Performs all other assigned duties

- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift 50lbs.
· Stand, lift, bend, twist for long periods of time
· Ability to use ladder /stairs
Sundays one dollar shift premium per hour.
All employees are eligible for bonuses.
20 plus hours weekly employees are eligible for Dental and optical benefits.
