Job Summary:
Bertrand Chaffee Hospital, a community-governed non-profit organization, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse Med Surg to join our dedicated team. As a vital member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Med/Surg department. Our hospital is committed to keeping healthcare local and providing exceptional services to our community.
Responsibilities:
Full Time positions available.
Overnight 7:00PM - 7:30AM. 12 hour shifts.
Provide patient-centered care to assigned patients, incorporating individualized plans of care and evidence-based practice
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians
Monitor vital signs and report changes to healthcare providers
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and hospital performance
Requirements:
AAS In Nursing required, BSN preferred.
One (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a Med/Surg setting preferred
Current registration with the New York State Board of Nursing
BLS and ACLS current certification required
