Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Hotel Food and Beverage Manager to lead our dynamic food service operations. Duties
- Manage daily restaurant, bar, catering, banquets, and room service operations with enthusiasm and precision
- Lead, train, and develop staff to deliver top-tier customer service while fostering a positive team environment
- Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to ensure compliance with safety standards and brand guidelines
- Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling procedures and reconciliation at shift end
- Implement and supervise food safety protocols in accordance with local health regulations and industry best practices
- Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure timely food production and seamless service during peak hours
- Conduct staff interviews, performance evaluations, and ongoing training & development initiatives to enhance team skills
- Monitor budget adherence, manage costs effectively, and identify opportunities for operational improvements
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
Requirements
- Proven management experience in food service management within a hotel or restaurant setting with supervising responsibilities
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen operations
- Familiarity with Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
- Strong background in inventory control, food safety standards, and budgeting processes
- Experience managing staff training programs, conducting interviews, and developing team members’ skills
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in fine dining, casual dining, catering or banquet settings is highly desirable
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles including shift management and customer service excellence
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining confidentiality and integrity
- Culinary experience or background in the food industry is preferred to support operational excellence
