Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing and be comfortable working in various environments, including construction sites. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints, operating hand and power tools, and performing heavy lifting tasks. As a Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
- Perform pipe threading and other plumbing techniques as necessary.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or needed repairs.
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
- Adhere to safety protocols while performing duties on-site.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction plumbing is preferred.
- Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Capable of performing heavy lifting as required by job tasks.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing installations.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in plumbing work.
- Valid commercial driving license is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work effectively on construction sites while following safety guidelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
