Responsibilities include:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized treatment plans
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy to enhance speech, language, and swallowing abilities
- Track progress, document outcomes, and adjust interventions as needed
- Educate students, families, and caregivers about effective communication and swallowing strategies
- Team up with educators, healthcare providers, and support staff for holistic student care
Qualifications sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences, or Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Active or pending state licensure
- ASHA certification is highly valued
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred, but not required
- Strong collaborative, organizational, and interpersonal communication abilities
