Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating roll off trucks/rear loader to transport and dispose of waste materials. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service while adhering to all local regulations and company policies.
Duties
- Operate trucks to load, transport, and unload waste materials at designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Safely maneuver vehicles in tight spaces and busy environments while maintaining awareness of surroundings.
- Load and unload containers using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and any incidents that occur during operations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members regarding schedules and service needs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating heavy machinery.
Skills
- Proficient in driving automatic transmission vehicles.
- Experience with roll off trucks, dump trucks, flatbeds, front loader trucks, and rear loader trucks is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes.
- Strong commercial driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Attention to detail in vehicle inspections and adherence to safety protocols.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
