Classes are available to students in a variety of forms including in-person campus, asynchronous online-based, and live distance (Zoom). Most classes are in-person campus-based classes held/conducted one day a week at the main University of Utah campus in Salt Lake City. Live distance classes are held/conducted/facilitated one day a week at distance partner campus sites and via Zoom.
This is a one-semester assignment with possible teaching assignments in future semesters based on College needs, space, and instructor course evaluations.
An MSW with two years of practice experience relevant to the course topic, or a PhD in social work or a related field is preferred. Applicants without an MSW and two years of practice experience will be limited to teaching “non-practice” (e.g., HBSE ; Social Determinants of Health; Research and Evaluation; and Applied Social Work Statistics) related courses.
