Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, creativity, and attention to detail during night shifts.
- Follow established recipes and menu plans to ensure consistency and quality in every dish served.
- Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations.
- Assist in food handling, storage, and inventory management to minimize waste and optimize kitchen operations.
- Support meal preparation for catering events or special functions as needed, ensuring timely delivery of quality food.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, ovens, grills, and other culinary tools.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen workflow and uphold a positive work environment.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable.
- Proven culinary experience in fine dining or restaurant settings, demonstrating excellent knife skills and food preparation techniques.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards within the food industry.
- Experience with meal preparation, and catering services preferred.
- Strong understanding of food service operations, including cooking methods and food presentation.
- Ability to work independently during night hours while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
