Overview
The Collin Club is seeking a dependable, personable, and experienced Lead Bartender to join our growing event team.
This position is perfect for someone who enjoys creating memorable guest experiences, crafting quality cocktails, and taking ownership during private events. While bartending is the primary responsibility, this role also serves as the on-site venue representative, ensuring events run smoothly from start to finish.
We're looking for someone interested in becoming a regular member of our team with opportunities to grow into a larger venue management role over time. We are also open to hiring qualified bartenders for individual events with the potential for ongoing work.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve beer, wine, classic cocktails, and craft cocktails.
- Develop specialty cocktail recommendations for weddings, corporate events, and private parties.
- Open and close the bar for each event.
- Manage bar inventory and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Supervise and assist additional bartending staff when needed.
- Serve as the primary on-site venue representative during assigned events.
- Welcome clients and vendors upon arrival and act as the primary point of contact throughout the event.
- Assist with event setup and breakdown as needed.
- Coordinate with caterers, DJs, planners, and vendors to ensure smooth event operations.
- Open and secure the venue before and after events.
- Assist with food service coordination when catered in-house.
- Maintain a professional, friendly, and guest-focused atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience required.
- Experience preparing craft cocktails and working high-volume events preferred.
- Current TABC certification (or willingness to obtain prior to employment).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working independently and making decisions on-site.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation.
- Availability on evenings and weekends.

Pay: $175.00 per day
