Customer Service Representative/Receptionist

We are a privately owned, growing, small animal hospital that focuses on Fear Free veterinary practices. We are looking for a positive, motivated, and responsible individual to join our amazing staff. Being a Customer Service Representative in our hospital is very important as you are usually the first person our clients speak to on the phone, the first face they see when they come to visit us, and the last person they interact with when they leave.
The right individual should be able to:
- Have an amenable personality, be patient, and caring
- Answer phone calls and communicate effectively with pet owners as well as with the rest of the staff members and doctors
- Schedule appointments, keep up with emails, perform callbacks, and confirmation of future appointments
- Be punctual, responsible, and be a team player
- Ideally have 1+ year of experience in the veterinary field, but willing to train the right, motivated individual
- Looking for a long term employment relationship
- Bilingual (English /Spanish) a plus
- Be willing to follow Fear Free practices and promote the Fear Free culture
- Available to work one to two Saturdays a month (we do not work Holidays and we are closed Sundays)
