About the Domestic Logistics Coordinator Position:
As a Domestic Logistics Coordinator, you will provide exemplary service to Ark's domestic customers by working as a member of the domestic team to quote, plan, and execute domestic air, expedited, and truck shipments. This is done primarily by 1) adding and managing data in Ark's quote management and transportation management software, and 2) communicating with Ark's domestic agents and air and trucking carriers to acquire tariff rates, negotiate spot rates, identify and secure capacity, and coordinate transportation. In this position you will coordinate directly with Ark's customers. You will be working in both an office and warehouse setting.
It is critical that you possess a sense of urgency, attention to detail, strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the ability to work well under pressure. Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Responsibilities:

Communicate with carriers, agents, and customers to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction.

Coordinate transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.

Plan and track shipment of final products according to customer requirements.

Respond to customer inquiries and refer clients to the proper channel.

Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.

Make special shipping arrangements as necessary.

Track and resolve shipping errors.

Prepare bills and invoices.

Ensure that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards.

Help identify opportunities to make shipping processes more efficient and organized.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business preferred; High School Diploma or GED required.

1+ years' experience in customer service or logistics is required.

Previous tow motor experience is preferred.

Ability to drive a sprinter van. No CDL required.

Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes.

Familiarity with freight or transportation regulations a plus.

Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP/TMS).

Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Keen on working in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
