Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, fluid replacements, tire rotations, and alignments with precision and efficiency.
- Diagnose automotive problems using advanced diagnostic tools and mechanical knowledge to determine root causes.
- Execute minor mechanical repairs including brake work, suspension adjustments, and engine repairs to keep vehicles running smoothly.
- Install, repair, and replace tires using hand tools and power tools while ensuring proper fitment and safety standards.
- Maintain detailed service records for each vehicle serviced, documenting repairs, parts used, and recommendations for future maintenance.
- Assist customers by explaining repair needs clearly, offering maintenance advice, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the process.
Requirements
- Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a strong background in vehicle maintenance and diagnostics.
- Certified Auto Mechanic license or equivalent certification demonstrating technical proficiency.
- Hands-on experience working with standard passenger cars and familiarity with automotive fluid replacement procedures.
- Knowledge of automotive systems including brakes, steering, suspension, engines, and electrical components.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, alignment equipment, and diagnostic software effectively.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in various positions for extended periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Prior experience in tire service, oil changes, minor mechanical repairs, and general vehicle maintenance is highly desirable.
- Dealership experience is a plus but not mandatory; a strong mechanic background is essential.

Pay: $17.00 - $40.00 per hour
