Responsibilities
- Stock shelves efficiently by receiving shipments, organizing products, and ensuring accurate placement according to merchandising standards
- Use RF scanners and inventory control systems to track stock levels, update records, and manage inventory accuracy
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely to load, unload, and transport heavy items within the warehouse or store area
- Assist customers by providing product information, answering questions, and offering friendly service to enhance their shopping experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, storage areas, and backroom to promote safety and efficiency
- Support shipping & receiving processes by preparing orders for delivery or pickup and verifying shipment accuracy
- Perform routine maintenance tasks like packaging products, restocking shelves, and cleaning workspaces to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience or retail sales background preferred; familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy loads regularly and perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting safely
- Experience operating RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and other warehouse equipment
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail in stocking, merchandising, and inventory control
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases
- Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail math is beneficial for accurate stock counting and pricing tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards and delivering exceptional customer service
