Bartender / Event Bartender – The Terrace at Aman’s
Pay: Competitive base pay + tips
Schedule: Wed-Sat 1-9PM
The Terrace at Aman’s in Mukwonago is looking for an experienced, personable bartender who can help us grow our bar and private event business.
We are not just looking for someone who can make drinks. We are looking for someone who understands hospitality, builds regulars, takes care of guests, and can help create a warm, professional experience for private parties, tastings, and weekend bar service.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional service to bar guests and event customers
- Prepare cocktails, beer, wine, and basic mixed drinks consistently
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar
- Handle cash, POS transactions, tabs, and end-of-shift checkout accurately
- Assist with private parties, events, tastings, and special gatherings
- Communicate clearly with management about inventory, guest issues, and event details
- Help create a welcoming environment that encourages repeat customers
- Follow all Wisconsin alcohol service laws and company policies
- Be reliable, punctual, and prepared for scheduled shifts
- Keep the bar and restrooms clean
Ideal Candidate
- Prior bartending experience preferred
- Strong hospitality mindset and good communication skills
- Comfortable working independently
- Able to handle busy periods and private events professionally
- Trustworthy with cash, inventory, and customer communication
- Willing to help grow the bar, events, and regular customer base
- Must be available for weekends and event dates
- Wisconsin bartender/operator license preferred or willingness to obtain one
Compensation
This position includes competitive hourly/base pay, tips, and opportunities for additional event-based compensation. For the right person, there is room to grow with the business as we expand our bar and private event program.
