American Traveler is seeking an experienced MICU RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring a TX or compact RN license and NIH Stroke Certification.

Work in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) of a hospital setting
-
Patient population includes adults with critical medical conditions
-
Night shift position, working 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
-
Active TX or compact RN license required
-
Minimum of 1 year of recent MICU experience

Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC required

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
-
No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Candidates must provide US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

At least one professional reference required (two for FL and MO licenses)

Responsibilities include providing critical care to medically complex patients in a high-acuity environment

Holiday and weekend shifts may be required as part of the rotation
