A growing franchised luxury automotive dealer group is expanding its electric vehicle operations in Central Florida and South Florida.
We are immediately hiring 6 experienced EV / High-Voltage Battery Technicians.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Up to $50.00 per flat-rate hour
Compensation will be based on experience, certifications, diagnostic ability, and high-voltage qualifications.

WHY EXPERIENCED TECHNICIANS SHOULD TAKE A LOOK
You already invested the time to learn high-voltage systems.
You completed the training.
You learned the diagnostic processes.
You developed a skill set that relatively few automotive technicians possess.

We are building a serious EV service operation and need experienced technicians capable of handling advanced diagnosis and major high-voltage repairs.
This isn't about filling one open bay.
We're hiring 6 technicians.
WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON
Depending on your experience and qualifications, work may include:
- EV and Battery Electric Vehicle diagnosis
- High-voltage traction battery diagnosis
- HV battery removal and installation
- Battery pack disassembly and reassembly
- Battery cell and module replacement
- High-voltage isolation fault diagnosis
- HV interlock circuit diagnosis
- Battery management system diagnosis
- Battery cooling system diagnosis and repair
- Electric drive unit diagnosis
- Charging system diagnosis
- 12V and high-voltage electrical diagnosis
- CAN/network communication diagnosis
- Wiring, connector and terminal testing
- Voltage drop and circuit integrity testing
- Module programming and configuration
- Software updates
- OEM diagnostic workflows
- Post-repair validation and testing
WHO WE WANT
This position is designed for an experienced automotive EV/high-voltage technician.
Ideal candidates will have experience as an:
EV Technician | High-Voltage Technician | Battery Technician | BEV Technician | Electric Vehicle Technician | Master Automotive Technician | Diagnostic Technician | High-Line Technician | OEM Dealership Technician
Previous franchised dealership or manufacturer experience is strongly preferred.
Experience with EV or high-voltage systems from manufacturers such as Tesla, Rivian, Lucid, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Porsche, Volvo, Polestar, Ford, General Motors, Hyundai, Kia, Volkswagen or other OEMs may translate well to this opportunity.
Manufacturer-specific experience is not necessarily required if you have strong EV/high-voltage diagnostic and repair experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred candidates will have:
- Professional automotive technician experience
- EV or high-voltage vehicle experience
- High-voltage safety training or certification
- Strong electrical diagnostic ability
- Experience using OEM diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read wiring diagrams
- Ability to perform circuit and pin testing
- Understanding of CAN/network systems
- Experience with module programming/software updates
- Ability to accurately document diagnostic and repair procedures
- Valid driver's license
- Strong attention to safety and repair quality
ASE and manufacturer certifications are preferred but will be evaluated alongside actual experience.
