POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Machine Lead, the Cleanroom Assembly and Machine Shop Detail Technician is responsible for deburring, detailing, and finishing machined parts to meet all blueprint specifications and quality standards.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilize a variety of hand, power, and pneumatic tools to meet blueprint and finish requirements for all machined parts.
- Interpret work orders, drawings, and blueprints to determine part specifications and finishing procedures.
- Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards before advancing to the next stage.
- Set up and adjust tooling, fixtures, and equipment for processing parts.
- Apply hand or machine polishing techniques to achieve specified surface finishes.
- Install hardware components per drawing and specification requirements.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, ideally involving sheet metal or machining. Experience in planning, inventory control, or shipping/receiving is a plus but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
KEY SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Basic reading, writing, and verbal communication skills required.
- Proficient in basic to intermediate math skills.
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and changing priorities.
- Skilled in using a variety of basic hand, power, and pneumatic tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
