Duties
- Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Schedule appointments efficiently using dental office management software such as Dentrix or OpenDental
- Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance claims processing
- Collect payments, process medical collections, and maintain accurate billing records
- Answer multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette and assist patients with inquiries or appointment rescheduling
- Support clinical staff by coordinating patient intake, updating care plans, and reviewing medical documentation for completeness
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Medical or Dental Receptionist with clinic or dental office experience preferred
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially under HIPAA guidelines
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in documentation review and appointment scheduling
ANTHUSIASM for Dentistry and ability to talk to patients is a must!
