American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with a CA RTT license and 3+ years of Radiation Oncology experience for a hospital-based outpatient Radiation Oncology department.

Monday through Friday day shift schedule with a 0700–0800 start time

5x8-hour shifts per week

13-week contract

Uses Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator (experience preferred)

Uses MOSAIQ for electronic medical records (experience preferred)

Active CA RTT license required if applicable

Current ARRT certification required

Current BLS/BCLS certification required

Minimum of 3 years of Radiation Oncology experience

SSN and DOB required for consideration

Set up and align patients using various imaging techniques to deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments
-
Assess patient status during direct patient interaction and make appropriate referrals to healthcare team members
-
Prepare for treatment delivery including chart/film checks, room setup, calculations, MOSAIQ review, and treatment calendar programming
-
Perform patient setup and CT simulation for radiation therapy treatment planning as needed

Collaborate closely with fellow radiation therapists and interdisciplinary team members
