Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Home Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and quality control, with the ability to analyze properties thoroughly to ensure they meet all safety and quality standards. As a Home Inspector, you will play a crucial role in assessing the condition of residential properties, providing valuable insights to homeowners and potential buyers.
POSITION SUMMARY:

- * Able to follow our standard process to complete an accurate, thorough, quality home inspection and detailed report.
- * MUST Pass a background check
- * MUST have a valid driver's license
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The inspector is strongly encouraged to have a basic knowledge of residential home systems and elements. Expected to work in various weather conditions, climb ladders, walk on roofs, access crawl spaces and attics, and stand for long periods.
- Solid computer technology skills are necessary for report writing and communications.
- The ideal candidate stays current on the latest company initiatives, policies, and procedures, while continually developing advanced technical knowledge in building science.
- Punctuality, the ability to work independently, and a strong work ethic are also required. Salary based on experience and qualifications.
- Travel to the home inspection site
- Inspect plumbing and electrical systems
- Keep daily logs, write up reports and take photographs
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Home Inspection License
- 2+ years of construction, real estate, or home repair experience required
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
- Physically fit for climbing ladders, walking on roofs, accessing crawl spaces and attics, and standing for long periods
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- May be required to enter homes that contain allergens such as pets, dust, mold, or other
