Position Summary
The MotorClothes Sales Associate is responsible for creating an exceptional retail experience while helping customers express their lifestyle through Harley-Davidson apparel, riding gear, accessories, and branded merchandise. This role combines sales, merchandising, styling, and relationship building to turn every visit into an experience riders want to return for.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Experience
- Deliver a welcoming, energetic, and memorable experience to every guest.
- Build relationships with riders and create long-term customer loyalty.
- Provide personalized recommendations based on riding style, fit, comfort, and lifestyle.
- Educate customers on riding gear protection and product benefits.
- Create excitement around new arrivals, seasonal launches, and dealership events.
Sales Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed individual and department sales goals.
- Drive average transaction value through outfit building and add-on sales.
- Promote complete rider packages including:
- Helmets
- Jackets
- Gloves
- Boots
- Casual apparel
- Riding accessories
- Gifts and collectibles
- Support motorcycle delivery experiences with rider gear recommendations.
- Capture opportunities from service and sales customers entering the dealership.
Merchandising & Inventory
- Maintain showroom appearance and visual merchandising standards.
- Rotate displays and merchandise based on promotions and seasonality.
- Restock inventory and maintain accurate sizing presentation.
- Assist with receiving, tagging, pricing, and organizing inventory.
- Monitor low stock and communicate replenishment needs.
Events & Community Engagement
- Support dealership events, bike nights, open houses, and customer appreciation activities.
- Help create themed merchandise displays for promotions and holidays.
- Represent the Twisted Torch Harley-Davidson culture and brand in every interaction.
Operational Responsibilities
- Operate POS system accurately.
- Complete opening and closing duties.
- Maintain dressing rooms and sales floor standards.
- Follow dealership procedures for discounts, exchanges, and inventory control.
Qualifications
- Retail sales experience preferred.
- Harley-Davidson, powersports, apparel, or lifestyle brand experience strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to style and recommend complete outfits confidently.
- Organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented.
- Comfortable standing and moving throughout the shift.
- Weekend and event availability required.
