Prepare and serve meals to residents in the community
Ensure all special dietary needs are met, including texture-modified diets as directed
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, kitchen spaces, and dishes
Properly discard leftovers and remove trash according to procedures
Follow color coding and tray card abbreviations for therapeutic menus
Maintain kitchen equipment and appliances
Attend all mandatory in-services, trainings, and department meetings
Friendly demeanor with strong communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff
Ability to read
Ability to meet physical demands, including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds
Food service experience preferred
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
