Responsibilities
- Coordinate and process air export shipments, ensuring all documentation complies with international shipping standards and US regulations from A-Z which includes: obtaining spot rates for air freight and trucking, quoting customer, booking with airlines and truckers, arranging trucking, preparing documents, filing AES/EEI, creating shipper's interest insurance policies, tracking shipment, updating customer, invoicing customer, submitting AP to Accounting.
- Submit data into our transportation management system, update statuses, and maintain accurate data entry records.
- Serve as the first point of contact at the front desk, greeting visitors, clients, carriers, and vendors with professionalism and enthusiasm. Receiving documents from inbound drivers and customers and handing out documents to outbound carriers.
- Facilitate communication between clients, carriers, customs authorities, and internal teams to ensure timely dispatching and delivery of freight.
- Assist with pricing negotiations, contract management, and carrier sales activities to optimize freight costs and service quality.
- Support inside sales efforts by lead generation, account management, and developing new business opportunities within the logistics sales sector.
- Dispatch shipments efficiently by coordinating with carriers, managing transportation planning, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of shipments, dispatch logs, incident reports, and compliance documentation to support operational transparency.
- Collaborate on supply chain management initiatives to improve overall logistics performance and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supply chain management or transportation management within an international freight forwarding environment.
- Strong knowledge of logistics operations including freight forwarding procedures such as an IAC (Indirect Air Carrier), CNS/IATA licensed Agent, NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), 3PL (Third-Party Logistics), and carrier sales.
- Familiarity with international freight forwarding and domestic trucking transportation management systems (TMS) for data entry and dispatching.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer-focused approach to account management and B2B sales.
- Ability to handle complex logistics planning while maintaining attention to detail in documentation and compliance requirements.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, carriers, customs authorities, and internal teams across diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety and regulatory standards

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
