Full-Time Bronx, NY 10 Buildings / 300 Units
We’re hiring a Multi‑Trade Residential Maintenance Technician to handle daily repairs, troubleshooting, and full apartment renovations across a residential portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Plumbing: Sweat pipe, install shower bodies, replace lead bends, change shut‑off valves, repair leaks, faucets, cartridges, toilet repairs
- Electrical: Diagnose and repair outlets, switches, fixtures, breakers, basic wiring issues
- Carpentry: Sheetrock, tape, spackle, skim‑coat, trim, doors, hardware, flooring, interior repairs
- Supervision: Direct and oversee other maintenance employees
- Troubleshoot building system issues (plumbing, electrical, boilers)
- Full apartment renovations (kitchens, baths, flooring, paint)
- Work orders in occupied units
- Boiler checks and general building maintenance
- Occasional emergency calls
Requirements
- Strong multi‑trade plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills
- Proven troubleshooting ability
- Experience with full apartment renovations
- Reliable transportation
- Professional communication with tenants
- Ability to supervise helpers
Schedule & Pay
- Full-time, 40 hours/week
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience
- PTO + NY sick leave
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required; bilingual (English & Spanish) a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Minimum 2 years of experience in building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, and boiler systems
- Skilled in using hand and power tools for carpentry, painting, plumbing, and custodial tasks
- Must have a reliable vehicle and be able to travel throughout Bronx and Westchester locations
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, reaching, and working in varied indoor/outdoor conditions

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
