Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented House Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in a non-profit organizations space. This role requires a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and an ability to work independently. The House Cleaner will play a crucial role in ensuring that all areas are spotless, providing a welcoming environment for clients.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial properties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, and kitchens.
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as needed to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Execute floor care duties such as buffing and polishing to maintain the appearance of various surfaces.
- Assist with custodial tasks including waste disposal and replenishing supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Skills
- Proficiency in industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean and maintain various surfaces effectively.
- Experience in commercial cleaning environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with custodial practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of porter duties, including managing supplies and maintaining cleanliness in facilities.
- Basic skills in facilities maintenance to assist with minor repairs or upkeep as needed.
- Experience in residential painting is a plus for maintaining aesthetic appeal in homes.
