We are currently seeking a friendly and experienced traveling dental hygienist to provide on-site dental care in assisted living facilities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, values patient-centered care, and is comfortable traveling between locations.
Responsibilities
· Provide dental hygiene services to patients in assisted living facilities, ensuring the highest level of care and professionalism
· Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide helpful tips for maintaining good dental health
· Document patient information and treatment plans accurately in electronic dental records
· Follow infection control procedures and maintain proper sterilization of dental instruments and equipment
· Communicate professionally with facility staff and patients
Requirements
· A valid dental hygienist license in the state of North Carolina
· Proven experience of at least 2 years as a Dental Hygienist
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Compassionate and patient-centered approach to patient care
· Ability to work independently and adapt to different clinical settings
· Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
· Willingness to travel to different locations and work flexible hours
· Clean driving record and reliable transportation
