Our customer is seeking a highly organized and collaborative Project Manager to plan and support the execution of product development projects. This role coordinates cross-functional internal and external teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and at a high level of quality. Project work may include new product development, product line enhancements, quality improvements, and cost reduction initiatives.
What you'll do:
- Organize cross-functional project teams and develop project plans, including resource allocation, RACI, activity identification, schedules, key metrics, and goals
- Coordinate technical development, scheduling, design, and testing activities in alignment with the product development process
- Partner with internal teams and external suppliers, consultants, and agencies to ensure project support services and contractual requirements are completed
- Monitor project progress and work with the team to identify and assess risks related to warranty, product liability, contracts, customer commitments, finance, manufacturing, safety, quality, and supply chain
- Document and report project status, including progress versus plan, schedules, budgets, milestones, key metrics, issues, mitigation plans, and customer feedback
- Keep leadership informed of project status, risks, and issues to ensure projects stay on track
What you'll need:
- Knowledge of Obeya, Scrum, agile product methodologies, and lean product development principles is strongly preferred
- Agile learner who is an early adopter of technology and willing to experiment, learn, and adjust
- Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
- Comfortable leading through influence, driving accountability, and creating an inclusive, collaborative, customer-focused environment
- Experience working with globally dispersed teams, business leaders, and team members to manage timelines and resolve problems
- Strong understanding of engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, customer service, finance, sales, and marketing functions as they relate to product design and development
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings and respond to questions from managers, customers, suppliers, and employees
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions with strong attention to detail
- General knowledge of multiple manufacturing processes is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Engineering preferred
Pay: $30.00 - $41.00 per hour
