Job Overview
We are seeking a Pasty Maker to join our team. We need a person who has a background in the food industry and experience working with dough (like as a pasty maker, pie maker, or pizza maker). As a Pasty Maker, you will be responsible for preparing our various housemade pasties, ensuring quality and consistency while adhering to food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake our house made pasties according to recipe.
- Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety protocols.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, mixers, and knives.
- Clean up after shift, including sweeping, mopping, and dishes.
Requirements
- Experience as a Pasty Maker, Pizza Maker, or Baker or in a similar role within the food industry.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
- Availability to work early morning shifts.
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus but not required.
