We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to perform a wide range of clerical duties so that we can execute our mission statement – to help our clients live life to its fullest. The position will be located at our Galesburg, IL location - 360 E Losey St Galesburg, IL 61401

Job Duties
- Greeting and Patient Interaction:
- Warmly greet patients and visitors, creating a positive first impression.
- Answer patient questions and provide assistance with forms and paperwork.
- Ensure patients feel comfortable and informed about their visit.
- Appointment Management:
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments.
- Manage the appointment calendar and ensure efficient patient flow.
- Help coordinate referrals and follow-up appointments.
- Communication:
- Answer phones, screen calls, and route them appropriately.
- Take messages and ensure timely communication with patients and staff.
- Respond to patient inquiries via phone and email.
- Financial Transactions:
- Collect co-pays and payments for services.
- Process insurance information and handle billing inquiries.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintain and update patient records in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Scan and file documents, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Process medical records requests and coordinate referrals.
- Office Organization and Support:
- Maintain a tidy and organized front office environment.
- Manage inventory of office supplies and coordinate reordering.
- Ensure the reception area is well-stocked and presentable.
- Other Duties:
- May assist with tasks like preparing correspondence, managing mail, and coordinating deliveries.
- May help with basic administrative tasks to support the smooth functioning of the clinic.
