American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a travel assignment requiring at least 2 years of OR experience, on-call availability, and an active RN license.

Operating Room (OR) unit within a hospital setting

Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

On-call responsibilities required

Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities within a 75-mile radius

Uses Epic EMR
-
OR unit with 5 staffed beds
-
Active OK or Compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted

Minimum 2 years of OR experience required

Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
-
NRP preferred
-
Must demonstrate foundational knowledge and practical skills in cardiac monitoring; EKG/Dysrhythmia competency testing will be required during the compliance process if offered

Valid driver's license or state-issued ID required

Recent utility bill in the candidate's name with a matching address (within the last 3 months) required for consideration

2 supervisory references required

Copies of certifications required for consideration

Permanent address must be greater than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer per 13-week assignment; no holiday or blackout date requests will be accepted
