What We Offer:
Responsible for managing the Transport of Patients, have superior customer service skills as well as prior leadership experience. Works under the supervision of the Central Transportation Manager.
What We're Looking For:
Education: High School or GED, required.
Experiance: One year of supervisory experience required. One year transport experience preferred.
Additional Skills: Prior experience as a patient transporter. Demonstrates standards of performance (ownership, teamwork, communication, compassion) that support patient satisfaction and principles of service excellence.
What You'll Do:
- Supervises personnel involved in transportation of customers and/or goods.
- Responsible for the orientation and training of new transporters.
- Coordinates daily work assignments of the transportation staff with the dispatcher.
- Ensures that all deliveries are completed in a timely.
- Reports changes in the patient to others for follow up.
- Knowledge of OSHA and dispatch procedures.
- Attends holding area and performs related duties.
- Assists patients and family members by responding to inquiries and giving information based on departmental and organizational policies.
- Performs related duties such as reporting equipment malfunctions, ordering oxygen and patient care supplies.
