Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeping Attendant to ensure the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall upkeep of our hotel. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a welcoming and hygienic environment for our guests by performing thorough cleaning tasks, managing laundry, and maintaining high standards of sanitation. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to exceptional customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our housekeeping services.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of our hotel, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and bathroom sanitation.
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Conduct floor cleaning tasks such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and applying carpet cleaning techniques when necessary.
- Handle manual handling tasks safely when lifting heavy furniture or supplies, adhering to proper ergonomic practices.
- Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces and fixtures, ensuring all areas meet health and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with guests to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and the use of various cleaning equipment and tools.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, floor care products, and carpet cleaning techniques.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Strong time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with guests.
- Outdoor work experience is a plus for roles involving exterior property maintenance or outdoor cleaning tasks.
