Document Control Technician
Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
We're looking for a detail-oriented individual whose education, experience, and career goals are already focused on Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Compliance, Quality Systems, or another scientific or technical discipline.
This is not a general administrative position. Instead, it's an opportunity for someone who has already begun building a career in a regulated manufacturing environment and wants to continue developing their knowledge of quality systems and document control. Ideal candidates may be recent college graduates with relevant coursework or individuals with experience in Quality Control, laboratory operations, document control, or regulated manufacturing who are looking to expand their professional experience.

What You'll Do
As a Document Control Technician, you'll support our Quality Management System by maintaining accurate, controlled documentation and records that support manufacturing operations, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities include:
- Organizing and maintaining quality records and controlled documents
- Scanning, filing, and archiving electronic and paper records
- Issuing, tracking, revising, and archiving controlled documents
- Maintaining document logs and revision histories
- Preparing documentation for customer, certification, and regulatory audits
- Maintaining employee training records
- Assisting with customer complaint documentation and corrective action records
- Maintaining spreadsheets, databases, and quality system tracking logs
- Supporting the Quality & Regulatory team with document control activities
Qualifications
Required
- College coursework toward an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Management, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality while working with controlled documentation.
- Education, training, or experience that demonstrates a commitment to a career in Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Compliance, Quality Systems, or another regulated manufacturing discipline.
Preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
- Experience in Quality Control, laboratory operations, document control, or quality systems.
- Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment, such as cosmetics, personal care, food, pharmaceutical, medical device, dietary supplements, or similar industries.
- Experience working with SOPs, controlled documents, specifications, training records, or Quality Management Systems.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
This position begins as a temporary assignment through one of our staffing partners. Individuals who demonstrate strong attendance, reliability, performance, and alignment with our company values may be offered regular full-time employment with Vege Labs following the introductory period.
