The Cookie Odyssey is looking for an experienced Pastry Baker / Bakery Team Member to join our team.
This role is primarily focused on baking and pastry production, while also assisting with front-of-house operations to help provide an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and baking pastries, cookies, and other baked goods according to our recipes and standards
- Mixing doughs, batters, fillings, and other components with precision
- Decorating and finishing pastries while maintaining high presentation standards
- Preparing espresso drinks, coffee, and other café beverages
- Assisting customers with warm, friendly service and operating the register
- Restocking products and keeping the bakery clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen and café
Qualifications:
- Prior professional experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen is required
- Barista or café experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, organized, and passionate about baking and hospitality
