Dental Assistant

We're a small, independently owned practice — not a corporate office — delivering dentistry without pain, pressure, or insurance hassles. We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and caring Dental Assistant who wants to grow with a fast-rising doctor and a forward-thinking team.
What You'll Do
- Assist the doctor chairside during all dental procedures, including cosmetic, surgical, and implant cases
- Prepare, organize, and sterilize instruments according to OSHA and infection-control standards
- Take high-quality digital X-rays, CBCT, intraoral scans, and clinical photos
- Maintain clean, well-stocked operatories and ensure efficient patient flow
- Anticipate doctor and patient needs during treatment for seamless workflow
- Educate and comfort patients before, during, and after procedures
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
- Support the team with patient scheduling, sterilization turnaround, and operatory setup/breakdown
- Maintain accurate digital charting and clinical documentation
What We're Looking For
- Georgia Dental Assistant certification preferred
- Radiology certification required
- CPR certification required
- 1+ year of dental assisting experience (surgical or implant experience preferred, but not required)
- Strong communication and patient-care skills — professional, calm, and compassionate
- Comfortable working in a modern, digital environment (intraoral scanner, CBCT, digital sensors)
- Team player with initiative and attention to detail
- Reliable, responsible, and committed — this practice runs on people who show up
Schedule & Compensation
- Flexible 4-day work week, Monday–Thursday, 9am–5pm, with an occasional Friday or Saturday per doctor for emergencies — no Sundays
- Competitive pay: $16–20/hr based on experience
- Bonus system: performance-based and team productivity incentives
