Mercy Grace Private Practice is a pediatric and family practice dedicated to creating lifelong relationships with our patients through compassionate care. We are currently looking for a friendly and dependable medical assistant to join our team!
Job summary: Medical Assistant will work under the direction of our board-certified physicians. The ideal candidate enjoys working with both children and adults, thrives in a fast-paced clinic environment and is committed to delivering outstanding patient care.
Position Duties:
- Rooms patients/ Obtains vitals signs. medical histories, medications and chief complaints
- Prep exam rooms
- Administer injections & immunizations
- Collect & prepare laboratory specimens
- Bloodwork
- EKG / Spirometry
- Vision & Hearing screenings
- Appointment scheduling
- Check-in & check-out
- Assist with phone calls and patient questions
- Rx refills/ Referrals/ Prior Authorization
- Clean/ stock exam rooms
- Assist providers
- Performs other position-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant certificate or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain.
- Great customer service
- Team player
*Pay based on experience.
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8:00 A.M. - 6 P.M. (Lunch 12- 1 P.M.) & Friday 8:00 A.M. - 12 P.M.
