EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position provides comprehensive psychiatric care through examinations, treatment planning, and collaboration with interdisciplinary staff. As a Staff Psychiatrist, you will perform the following duties:

Clinical Assessment: Conduct detailed psychiatric examinations and interpret diagnostic findings

Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans that guide patient progress

Team Collaboration: Work with interdisciplinary staff and participate in team meetings to coordinate care

Emergency Response: Lead and manage psychiatric and medical emergencies during assigned hours

Documentation Duties: Prepare psychiatric reports, progress notes, treatment reviews, and discharge summaries

Community Coordination: Support discharge planning and communicate with community providers for follow-up care

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week

Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. You may work possible evening, weekend, and holiday on-call shifts. Your schedule may change based on operational needs.
