Job Responsibilities:

Process and enter invoices, payments, and accounting transactions into the property management software system.

Assist with accounts payable functions, including vendor setup, invoice verification, and payment processing.

Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and supporting documentation.

Reconcile bank accounts, security deposit accounts, and vendor statements.

Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.

Respond to tenant, vendor, and property owner inquiries regarding billing, payments, and account balances.

Maintain accurate electronic and physical filing systems for accounting documents.

Support preparation of owner statements and financial reports.

Monitor outstanding balances.

Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting procedures, and applicable regulations.

Assist with audits and special accounting projects.

Perform other administrative and accounting duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:

Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Experience:

1–3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or administrative support experience.

Experience in property management, real estate, or related industries preferred.

Familiarity with property management software is a plus.
