About the Role
We are hiring an Account Executive to own the back-end sale from investigation to signed tax relief engagement. This is a closing role first and a nurture role second.
The right person for this role knows how to build trust, maintain momentum, handle objections, and confidently ask for the sale. You will guide clients through the investigation waiting period, prepare them for the review conversation, and help move them into the right tax relief solution once findings are ready.
What You’ll Do
- Own the back-end sale from completed investigation to signed tax relief engagement.
- Lead the client from investigation findings to decision, with the goal of converting qualified clients into paying resolution clients.
- Run or support closing conversations, ask for the sale, and move clients to a clear yes or no decision.
- Handle objections, reinforce value, create urgency where appropriate, and help clients commit to the recommended next step.
- Build trust and maintain momentum during the 2–4 week investigation window so clients stay engaged and ready to move forward once findings are ready.
- Reach out quickly after signup and establish yourself as the client’s main point of contact during the investigation process.
- Schedule review calls promptly once the investigation is complete.
- Confirm attendance, reduce no-shows, and make sure clients understand the purpose of the review call.
- Maintain accurate CRM notes, follow-up tasks, and pipeline visibility throughout the process.
- Coordinate a smooth handoff once the client signs and moves into fulfillment or case management.
What Success Looks Like
- High conversion from investigation clients to signed tax relief engagements.
- Consistent revenue from back-end tax relief sales in line with targets.
- High show rates for review calls and fast first contact after investigation payment.
- Clients stay engaged during the investigation window and are ready to decide once findings are presented.
- Clear documentation and clean internal handoffs so fulfillment can move quickly.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven closing ability in a consultative sales environment.
- Confidence asking for the sale and moving clients to a clear yes or no decision.
- Strong objection-handling skills and emotional intelligence.
- Excellent phone, text, and email communication skills.
- Ability to manage a warm pipeline over multiple weeks without losing momentum.
- Strong follow-up discipline and solid CRM habits.
- Comfort working with clients who may be stressed, frustrated, or overwhelmed.
- Experience in tax relief, legal services, financial services, debt settlement, or another high-trust sales environment is a plus.
Ideal Candidate Traits
- Closer mindset with a service-oriented approach.
- Persistent without being aggressive.
- Calm, tactful, and confident in emotionally charged conversations.
- Strong situational awareness and behavioral flexibility.
- Organized enough to manage details, but fundamentally motivated by conversion and revenue.
Key Performance Indicators
- Close rate from review call to signed engagement.
- Speed to first contact.
- Contact rate during the investigation period.
- Review-call booking rate.
- Review-call show rate.
- Investigation-to-resolution conversion rate.
- Revenue sold and/or cash collected from back-end tax relief sales.
- CRM completeness and handoff quality.
Why This Role Matters
In this role, you help clients move from confusion and stress about their tax situation to clarity and commitment to a relief plan. You translate what the team discovers in the investigation into straightforward next steps, help clients understand their options, and guide them into the right service so the specialists can do the technical work.
