Duties
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in menu planning, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety and handling regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during meal periods.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages as needed.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety practices.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role within the food service industry.
- Knowledge of dietary aide practices, food safety regulations, and proper food handling techniques.
- Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on meal preparation and fine dining experiences.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members.
- Creativity in menu planning and the ability to adapt recipes based on seasonal ingredients or guest preferences.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
