Rising Tides Recovery Services is a Dual Diagnosis Drug and Alcohol treatment center specializing in detox/residential level of care. We are located in the beautiful beach city of Dana Point, CA. Rising Tides Recovery Services provides a safe and comfortable environment for those seeking recovery from drug and alcohol addiction while maintaining a recovery-focused culture.
Primary Duties:
- Transportation of clients
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and transparent environment in which clients can trust us to help them recover
- Supervise clients self-administer medications
- Observe and report concerning client behaviors
- De-escalation and quick problem solving
- Light housekeeping
Requirements:
- Valid RADT or SUDRC
- Valid CPR and First Aid Certification
- Valid Driver License
- Good driving record as you must pass our auto insurance guidelines and verification
- Ability to maneuver an 11-passenger van safely
- An ability to manage tasks throughout the day with minimal supervision
- The integrity to ask for guidance and additional assistance when needed
- Strives for excellence, consistency, and commitment
- Ability to stay calm amid external chaos without minimizing the client's challenges while maintaining an environment in which the client feels valued and heard.
- Availability to work Saturday and Sunday
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working in drug/alcohol treatment
- Knowledge of safe procedures to monitor client administration of medication
- Familiarity with 12-step programs and other self-help modalities
- Experience with the EMR system, KIPU
