SHIPPER / FORKLIFT OPERATOR – DAYS

Pay: $24–$26 per hour + Overtime Available
Allied Resource Recovery is seeking an experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operator / Shipper to join our growing recycling operation in Waukesha.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, working in a team-oriented environment, and operating a forklift throughout the day. You will spend most of your shift loading and unloading semi-trailers with baled recyclable materials including paper, cardboard, and metals.
What You’ll Do
- Load and unload 53’ semi-trailers using a sit-down forklift
- Move, stack, and stage large bales of recyclable materials
- Follow prescribed load patterns to maximize trailer utilization
- Handle non-palletized and multi-tier baled materials safely and efficiently
- Weigh and record material inventory through our computerized scale system
- Maintain an organized, safe, and productive shipping area
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of sit-down forklift experience
- Minimum 2 years loading and unloading semi-trailers
- Ability to safely handle large, non-palletized materials
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Important:
This is an industrial recycling environment. Successful candidates must be comfortable working around dust, dirt, and varying seasonal temperatures.
