As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as an Architectural Designer. This position will start as an internship position, with the potential to be offered a full-time formal position. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Architectural Designer to support our development team in all phases of project planning, execution, and delivery. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for real estate development. We are open to hiring recent graduates (OPT sponsorship available) preferably with work experience in construction, project management, engineering, architecture-related fields. Potential candidates should live within commutable distance from the company office and dedicate working collaboratively with other team members.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Design, or a related field, but equivalent experience will be considered
● Recent graduates or entry-level professionals with related backgrounds
● Understanding of architectural principles, construction techniques, and building codes
● Proficiency in architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
● Ability to solve design challenges with creativity and innovation
● Work experience in related role preferred
● Mandarin & English Proficiency required
● Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
● Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
● Effective computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office software
Responsibilities:
●Assist in the creation of design concepts, architectural plans, and elevations under the supervision of senior architects or project managers
● Develop and produce architectural drawings, blueprints, and detailed construction documents
● Prepare design drawings, plans, sections, details, and schedules
● Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and other team members to support the design and development phases
● Collaborate with senior designers and project managers to produce accurate, detailed construction drawings and documentation for permit submission
● Analyze site conditions, materials, and building systems to support design choices
● Participate in the integrated design process with other disciplines
● Review construction sites and provide deficiency reports
● Stay updated on the latest design trends, materials, and products
● Assist in managing project timelines, budgets, and documentation
● Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications
● Provide administrative support to senior designers, such as sourcing materials, preparing presentations, and liaising with clients
