The Quality & EHS Manager is responsible for leading and managing the Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Quality Supervisory, Quality Technician, Environmental Health & Safety, and related quality support functions. This position ensures compliance with customer requirements, internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and applicable quality and environmental management systems, including IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
The Quality & EHS Manager serves as the Quality and Environmental Management Representative and acts as a key liaison between EFTEC, customers, suppliers, auditors, and internal departments. This position requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This is a 100% in-office position with limited travel to customers and suppliers.

Manage and support all Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, and Quality Technician activities.

Maintain, review, and approve quality manuals, policies, procedures, and work instructions.

Provide manufacturing support for quality-related issues.

Ensure PPAP requirements are followed and customer requirements are met.

Provide customer support for quality-related concerns, claims, and corrective actions.

Act as a liaison between customers and EFTEC regarding quality-related matters.

Accept or dispute customer-reported quality issues based on data, evidence, and analysis.

Lead the root cause analysis program and ensure timely responses to customer claims.

Review corrective actions and verify effectiveness.

Conduct raw material supplier audits and supplier self-assessments.

Manage third-party audits and certification activities for IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

Act as the Quality Management Representative and facilitate related quality management system activities.

Serve as the Environmental and Quality Management Representative.

Ensure all Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements are met.

Ensure all required EHS reports are developed, completed, and submitted accurately and on time.

Oversee the development and administration of SDS and IMDS programs.

Follow and support EFTEC’s Quality and Environmental Policy.

Ensure compliance with ISO 45001, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001:2015 EMS requirements.

Support environmental management, safety orientation, EHS training, and department-specific training requirements.

Maintain good housekeeping practices and ensure compliance with housekeeping regulations.

Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations.

Handle employee discipline and termination in accordance with company policy.

Follow and ensure the Management Principles of the EMS Group.

Apply and implement assigned tasks and management requests.

Apply the 7 Thinking Steps for problem solving.

Ensure timely distribution, accuracy, and completeness of required reports, including KPI reports and other standard reports.

Prepare regular reports for special tasks, including cost savings initiatives and assigned projects.
Perform all other duties as assigned by the President / General Manager

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or an appropriate technical field required.

Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

Prior Quality and EHS supervisory or management experience required.

IATF and ISO auditing certification required.

Experience working in a multinational company preferred.

Broad knowledge of industrial processes.
