Nation Security is seeking a high-performing Operations Manager to lead a substantial security team and deliver top-tier protection across key client locations. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, supporting regional expansion, and ensuring profitability all while maintaining rigorous performance standards, strict contract compliance, and flawless service.
Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Personnel Management
- Direct all workforce operations within your territory, including recruitment, staffing, performance management, discipline, and conflict resolution.
- Set clear milestones and performance goals for both frontline security personnel and supervisory staff.
- Serve as a cultural anchor by exemplifying core company values.
- Boost staff engagement through regular coaching, mentorship, and daily face-to-face interactions.
Financial & Contractual Oversight
- Manage assigned contractual budgets to ensure all financial milestones are met.
- Guarantee high client satisfaction by ensuring security delivery aligns 100% with contractual agreements.
Compliance, Training & Vetting
- Maintain a fully staffed roster of properly trained, licensed, and thoroughly background-checked personnel.
- Ensure all team members complete mandatory screenings, required training, and professional certifications.
Client Relations & Safety Protocols
- Build strong, professional partnerships with clients and resolve inquiries promptly.
- Conduct health and safety evaluations, document workplace incidents, lead formal investigations, and participate in safety committees.
- Perform risk analyses, carry out site inspections, and generate monthly billing summaries and performance reports.
Security Operations & Incident Response
- Design and execute comprehensive security policies, frameworks, and operational protocols.
- Oversee overall security workflows, including the management of personnel, hardware, and technology systems.
- Conduct routine security audits to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risk.
- Act as the primary liaison with emergency responders and law enforcement during critical incidents.
- Train security staff on operational procedures, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
- Thoroughly investigate security breaches and report actionable findings to executive leadership.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain a safe, unified operational environment.
- Stay current on evolving security technologies, industry trends, and standard operating procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in security management or a closely aligned industry.
- Management Track Record: Proven success in operational leadership (security sector experience strongly preferred).
- Licensing: Valid security industry license or officially accredited certificate of security competence.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of law enforcement protocols, regulations, and standard procedures.
- Background Clearance: Clear, verifiable history spanning past employment, education, and international travel.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication, strong customer service mindset, and excellent organizational logistics.
- Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive and make clear decisions in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
